We are a private jeweler based in Winter Park, just outside Orlando. There is no address to drive to, and that is deliberate. Dave sources or designs your piece, and then he brings it to you — your home, your office, or the restaurant where it is about to happen.

Central Florida is home. Most of the work happens within a morning's drive of Winter Park, and much of it happens at kitchen tables and in club car parks rather than anywhere you would recognize as a jewelry business. The phrase gets used loosely, so here is the specific version.

You have one person for the whole thing. Dave takes the first conversation, sources the stones, reads the grading reports with you, manages the bench work, and hands over the finished piece. Nobody is passed between a counter, a designer and a manager. Nobody's income depends on which stone you pick, because there is nobody else.

What you give up is the ability to walk in on a Saturday and look at forty rings under a bright light. What you get instead is a short list of stones actually worth your attention, chosen by someone who looked at them face-up before you did, and an honest account of what each one compromises. For most people making a decision this size, the second thing is worth considerably more than the first.

Why There Is No Address

This is the part that sounds like positioning and is actually arithmetic.

A street-level lease in a desirable Central Florida district, staff on the floor during opening hours, and stock sitting in a case waiting to be walked past are all real costs, and all of them are paid for out of the price of the ring. They have to be. A business carrying them cannot price the same stone the way a business without them can.

Home. Dave works from here, which in practice means Winter Park commissions move fastest — a stone can be in front of you the same week, and a resize is a short errand rather than a shipment. Privacy is the entire point of these communities, and a jeweler who arrives at the gate rather than requiring a trip into town fits how people here already do everything else. This is also where the largest commissions tend to originate, and where the work skews toward anniversary and milestone pieces rather than engagement rings. Dr. Phillips and Bay Hill

Dr. Phillips runs on a different calendar from the rest of Orlando — the golf year, the tournament that comes with it, and the convention corridor just south all put people here on tight and frequently rearranged schedules. Medical City, the sports and performance campuses and the corporate headquarters that followed them have produced a younger, more research-driven client than anywhere else we work. Central Florida has an unusual concentration of professional athletes for a metro this size, between the golf communities, the basketball franchise, and the national tennis campus at Lake Nona. Several things about the way we work suit that group specifically: no public location, no staff who could recognize anyone, no record of a visit, and delivery wherever is convenient rather than wherever is conventional. Beyond Central Florida

The Orlando metro is where we are, not the limit of where we work. Clients across the country commission pieces here and Dave travels to hand them over, which includes South Florida — Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm are all a routine drive for a delivery. Tampa is comfortably within range as well.

Distance has never been the reason a piece arrived in a box.

What the First Conversation Looks Like

It is a conversation, not an appointment. There is no form to complete first, nothing to browse, and no obligation attached to it.

1. You describe what you are trying to do. The person, the occasion, roughly what you want to spend. A vague idea is a perfectly good starting point; most people begin with one.
2. We tell you what that reaches. Honestly, including when the design you have described and the number you have in mind do not meet. That is better said in the first ten minutes than the last.
3. Dave sources a short list. Stones with full grading reports, examined face-up rather than assessed from paperwork, with a plain account of what each one is doing well and where it gives something up.
4. The piece is made, and then delivered by hand. Not couriered. Dave brings it, wherever suits.
