Refund Policy
Because most Atelier Diamante pieces are sourced and made to order, please read this policy carefully. It explains which purchases can be returned, which are final sale, and how to start an authorized return.
Returns (eligible items)
In-stock, ready-to-ship pieces and loose certified diamonds may be returned within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unworn and unused, in the same condition you received it, with all original packaging, certificates, and documentation, accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase. Any item that has been altered, set, engraved, or resized is not eligible for return.
Final sale and non-returnable items
The following are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:
- Made-to-order, custom, and bespoke pieces, including any item created or modified through a private consultation or the ring builder.
- Engraved or otherwise personalized items.
- Group order participations. As stated in our Group Orders terms, group order pricing is settled at the close of each batch and is non-refundable.
- Deposits. Any deposit paid to reserve a piece, a consultation, or a place in a group order is non-refundable, though it is applied toward your final purchase.
- Gift cards.
Authorized returns only
For security and insurance reasons, all returns must be authorized in advance. To start a return, contact us at dave@atelierdiamante.com or +1 (689) 332-3473 and we will issue an authorized, insured return shipping label and the return address. Items sent back without prior authorization cannot be accepted, and we cannot be responsible for uninsured packages.
Damages and defects
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately at dave@atelierdiamante.com if your item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your eligible (non-custom, non-personalized) order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. The item must be unworn and unused, in its original condition and packaging, with the receipt or proof of purchase. Made-to-order and personalized items are excluded, as permitted under EU consumer law.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund is approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact us at dave@atelierdiamante.com.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an eligible item is to return it and, once the return is approved, place a separate order for the new piece.
